FIT Student becomes Steve Madden Brand Ambassador

Hey everyone! The post I am about to write is super important to me because I put a lot of time and dedication into developing the content I am about to share with you. For my social media class we had to choose a brand that we would want to become an ambassador for and I chose Steve Madden. I absolutely love their brand and can't wait to share the content I made pretending to be an ambassador for them. I created a separate Instagram account just for this post @Samantharaesblog as well as posted on TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter. I had so much fun completing this project and I hope you guys enjoy this post!
Post #1: Amulet black boot on Instagram
For my first post, I wanted to use Instagram in order to reveal how you can wear the Steve Madden amulet black boot multiple ways and still feel confident. This shoe can be paired with any outfit of your choice and look amazing. I wanted to show my followers how I dressed it up in the first image with a sweater vest and jeans, but then dressed it down in the last image with a sweatshirt and leggings and both outfits look great. I also added the second picture to show the cool-girl look the jewels give off and how they can add some spice to your outfit. I wanted my followers to realize the great investment these shoes are because of their versatility.
Post #2: Steve Madden store on TikTok
For this post, I used TikTok in order to create a short video showing the layout of the store and what they have to offer. I wanted to show my followers how wide Steve Madden's selection is and how they have everything from neutral colored to bright colored boots and heels. I want my followers to see how Steve Madden has something for everyone no matter what type of shoe you are looking for. Whether you are shopping for a basic everyday shoe or glamorous party shoe, I wanted the customer to know they can find any shoe for any event here.
Post #3: Steve Madden Black Loafers on Instagram
When sharing Steve Madden's black leather loafers with my followers, I chose to use Instagram again because it was an easy way for me to upload multiple pictures in one space and I felt my content worked best with this platform. My goal was to show how these shoes go perfect with a business casual look and are great to wear on workdays. I wanted to reveal how comfortable and great they are for wearing when running errands or even for a nice scenic walk on your way home by taking images on the highline. The highline is a 1.45 mile walk and so if I am wearing them while walking then they must be comfortable! Also, I wanted to show my followers that they don't have to wear a basic black shoe to work everyday and these are perfect if they are looking to add some style and uniqueness to their look!
Post #4: Pinterest Board Revealing Outfits with Steve Madden Shoes
This is one of my favorite post that I created! I was originally supposed to use Twitter and show the shoes I owned from Steve Madden along with telling the story of the history of his brand, but instead I decided to create a Pinterest Board showing the shoes I owned and different ways to style them. I thought this would be a super fun way to connect with my followers on a new platform and give them the ability to pin any outfits they liked or would wear.
Post #5: Dinner in Madden Girl's Q Quilted Two-Piece Heels on TikTok
For this post, I went back to the platform TikTok because I needed to film how these Q-Quilted heels are perfect to wear to dinner across NYC! My goal was to display the comfort and trendy look of these heels. I wanted my followers to know you can walk anywhere in them and still look good at the same time. I took a trip to Little Italy for dinner and showed myself walking across the city, on the subway, and even in an ice cream shop to portray how amazing these heels really are.
Post #6: Madden Girl's Q Quilted Two-Piece Heels Design and Stich on Instagram
Lastly, I used Instagram in order to show the design and intricate stitching of my Q Quilted Two-Piece Madden Girl Heels. By taking such zoomed in photos of these shoes, my goal was to make it easy for the follower to see the stitching that created this quilted pattern and to be able to see the smooth texture of the show that makes them so comfortable to wear.

This post was a tweet I created to share my mood board with my followers to reveal Steve Madden's persona. I thought it was a unique way to give my followers a look into how the brand is perceived and the person they can become by wearing their shoes. I also chose to use Twitter because it was great way to connect a link from a different site and share my work on a platform I don't normally use.
Extra Post #2: Instagram Post Describing the History of Steve Madden
I posted this on my Instagram in order to give my followers insight on the brand I would be endorsing. I pulled this photo from the Steve Madden website itself and made the caption about the history of the brand, how it came to life, and how much it has grown over time. I felt my followers deserved to have a chance to learn about the history of the brand in case it was somewhere they would want to shop and support.
