I Love You Say It Back ♡

Hey everyone! I am so excited to share with you guys the project I have been working on these past few weeks. If you have read my blog before, then you know how in awe I am of the brand Lonely Ghost and the creator Indy Blue. For my final project in my social media class we had to make a YouTube video and of course I had to make my first one all about Lonely Ghost. I discuss the history behind the brand, who Indy Blue is, and then I show you guys the five different looks I created throughout New York City and Long Island wearing their brand. I am so excited for you guys to see this!

YouTube Video

I am absolutely obsessed with the brand Lonely Ghost which was developed by Indy Blue and so I chose to make my video about what exactly this brand is, who Indy Blue is, and add a lookbook on how to style some of the brands clothing. I begin the video with discussing who Indy Blue is, her background, what she does, and the general overview of the brand. Then I get into the deeper part of the video where I tell the story of how Lonely Ghost was created and the overall message and ideas the brand portrays to their customers. Lonely Ghost is a brand that supports mental health and wants everyone to feel loved and valued. In today’s world, mental health is super important, and I think it is a brand everyone should learn about and can fall in love with, I touch upon this in my video as well. After that, I get to my favorite part of the video which is where I show you guys the five looks I created using their products. I truly had so much fun making this and I hope you guys enjoy it!

After the video was created, we then had to make four promotional post for it using other social media apps. I chose to use pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok.

Post #1-Instagram Post

For my first promotional post I decided to post on Instagram and tell my followers about my new YouTube video that will be dropping soon. I created a montage on adobe spark with pictures of Lonely Ghost products, the store in Utah, quotes, an image of the creator Indy Blue, and added in a white screen to be order to write that a new video will be out soon. I posted this a few days before I released the video so that my followers could look forward to the release and have an insight as to what I am working on. In the caption I gave a little description about what the video will be about and when it will be dropping.

Post #2- Pinterest Board

For my second promotional post, I decided to use Pinterest. I made a pinterest board that displayed the overall vibe of the brand Lonely Ghost and the positive message that their clothes give off. I thought it was an amazing way to show my followers how the brand is perceived and how the brand's customers wear their products. I love the happiness I feel from looking at the board and the bright, colorful energy that comes from it. For the last post of the board, I posted the thumbnail to my YouTube Video and added a description of what the YouTube video is about and included the link to it as well. Anyone who sees that image can click on the bottom left corner of the image where it say "youtu.be" and it will bring them to my video.

Post #3- TikTok

For my third promotional post I decided to make a TikTok. I took bits and pieces of the looks I created and placed them into a twelve second video to get my followers intrigued in what I created. I wanted them to see a few of my different looks, but not all of them so that they would run over to my YouTube video to see the rest of them and learn about the brand. I added the link to the video in the caption and comments to make it easy for them to find and go watch my video.

Post #4- Instagram Story

For my fifth and final promotional post I decided to make it an Instagram story. I used one of my favorite pictures that I took while doing this project. It was back home on Long Island, where I am from and I am at the beach at the end of my block wearing my favorite sweatshirt from Lonely Ghost. The sun is setting and I just felt so at peace and at home in this moment. I posted the photo on my story and wrote how I posted a new YouTube video and included a button with the link to make it easy for my follower to access.
